Beginning my professional art career at the tender age of 19, plugging away at the indy comic book art markets, I eventually added airbrushing, commercial illustration, storyboarding and advertising to my list of credits. Having worked as a professional artist in a wide variety of fields since fresh out of high school, I've have the awesome opportunity to build a set of skills that began with the traditional and embraced the digital and 3D mediums right as they were first becoming available outside of the larger studios like ILM and Pixar. This vantage point has allowed my abilities to grow in parallel with and mature alongside the world of CG imaging, graphic design and animation in a way that brings experience, perspective and understanding of the art forms that only the serendipity of having entering them when I did could allow. Through the years I've worn just about every hat the world of digital art and animation has to offer: graphic designer, print layout technician, screen and offset print production artist, character designer, technical director, lead and production model and texture artist, director, teacher, and owner of my studio, Sixus1 Media, where,we maintained an ongoing roster of artists and projects for 19 years, the last few years of which were spent working with my incredibly talented son, Killian.
Having found myself finally satisfied with what was achieved acting as "Sixus1", I am now taking an extended hiatus from the name and much of the studio operations to explore the opportunities that may be found in the versatility and freedom of acting as a solo, independent artist, and what growth may come through that pursuit. I am anxious to find new and interesting projects, clients or positions where my skills and experience may make for a positive contribution.
Sixus1 Media is the studio name under which I've worked since late 2000, providing freelance design, art direction, illustration and animation services to a variety of clientelle ranging from other small, independent studios, to corporate projects with clients such as IBM, Formula One Racing and Sony BMG.

Through various corporate ownership changers, provided end to end development of 3D character assets, design and software consulting for Poser 3D software packages. Also provded extensive concept, modeling, rigging, morph sculpting, texturing and render/final art asset production.
